Wind LiDAR technology represents a prime example of high-tech innovation initially hailing from the defence industry and subsequently finding widespread civilian applications since the early 2000s. These LiDAR systems come in various models, each tailored to specific features and purposes. Initially, LiDARs were introduced in the wind energy sector to measure vertical wind profiles. They can be seamlessly integrated into wind turbines by mounting them on the nacelle, optimizing or measuring their power performance. Moreover, long-range wind LiDARs can conduct exclusive measurements both onshore and offshore.
RÜZMER offers a comprehensive range of LiDAR devices, covering all three types mentioned earlier. These devices are available for rental, primarily for project-specific measurements, with services exclusively extended to companies in Turkey.
