These LiDAR systems come in various models, each tailored to specific features and purposes. Initially, LiDARs were introduced in the wind energy sector to measure vertical wind profiles. They can be seamlessly integrated into wind turbines by mounting them on the nacelle, optimizing or measuring their power performance. Moreover, long-range wind LiDARs can conduct exclusive measurements both onshore and offshore.
